Order Processing:
- Your products are made to order, with a production time of 5-7 business days, depending on the specific item.
- After production, the item goes to the shipping department for packaging and preparation for shipment.
Shipping Label Creation:
- Once the item is ready to ship, a shipping label is created.
- Customers will receive an email with the tracking number, notifying them that the label has been generated.
- However, it's important to note that the creation of the label does not mean the item has been shipped yet.
Shipment Delay:
- Covercraft uses FedEx freight for shipping, and items are shipped on pallets.
- The pallet is only picked up by FedEx when it's full, and pickups happen during FedEx's scheduled times each day.
- This can cause a delay between when the label is created and when the actual shipping happens, depending on when the pallet is ready, and the pickup occurs.
Tracking and Pickup:
- Once the pallet is picked up and scanned at the FedEx hub, tracking information will start to update and you will see movement.
- Expedited shipping fees do not speed up the production, the process of filling the pallet or the FedEx pickup.
