Keeping your RV cover clean helps extend its life and ensures it continues protecting your vehicle from the elements. All fabrics exposed to outdoor use should be cleaned periodically before substances like dirt, roof particles, tree sap, and other debris are allowed to accumulate and become embedded in the fabric.
Cleaning Instructions
Leave the cover on the RV
The fabric can be cleaned without removing the cover. This makes the process quick and convenient.Rinse thoroughly
Use a garden hose to rinse off loose dirt, dust, and debris.Spot clean if needed
Mix a mild, natural soap with lukewarm water. Apply the solution to soiled areas using a soft cloth or sponge. Avoid harsh scrubbing.Rinse again
Thoroughly rinse all soap residue from the fabric to prevent buildup.Air dry completely
Allow the cover to air dry naturally before folding or storing. Never machine dry.
Important Tips
Wash in the late afternoon: Cleaning during cooler parts of the day prevents soap and water from baking into the fabric under direct sunlight.
Do NOT use detergent: Strong detergents, bleach, or abrasive cleaners can damage the coverβs protective coating and reduce its effectiveness.
Maintain regularly: Periodic cleanings prevent long-term buildup of tree sap, roof particles, and other contaminants.
