If your Covercraft dash mat doesn’t seem to fit perfectly, don’t worry! There are a few common reasons and easy steps to improve the fit.
Allow It to Settle
Dash mats may need a few days to conform to the shape of your dashboard, especially if they were folded or rolled during shipping.
Let it sit in place for 24–48 hours in a warm area to help it relax.
Adjust Positioning
Double-check that the mat is aligned correctly with air vents, sensors, and dashboard contours.
Slight repositioning often improves the overall fit.
Use the Included Velcro Tabs
The Velcro tabs help secure the mat in place.
Proper use can prevent lifting or shifting that may make the fit appear off.
Check Your Vehicle Details
Ensure the dash mat is designed for your exact make, model, year, and trim level (e.g., LX, EX, Sport).
Small differences in dash design can affect fit.
