If you have a convertible with a canvas top and are considering our Form-Fit® Car Cover, you may notice some lint transfer. The cover features an ultra-soft fleece lining to protect your vehicle’s finish, but the fibers in canvas tops can naturally attract lint as the cover slides across.
How to Prevent or Reduce Lint:Polycotton Liner: Available by phone order only, this separate liner works with any cover. To use, simply open the doors, lay it across the top so it hangs to mid-door, close the doors, and then install the cover over it.
5-Layer Indoor Car Cover: A great alternative with a soft inner layer that provides excellent protection and less lint concern—without needing an extra liner.
Polycotton Indoor Car Cover (as a base layer): Some owners choose to double up by using a polycotton custom car cover beneath their Form-Fit® custom car cover, much like wearing an undershirt beneath a dress shirt.
